Sheelah Marie Wooten has joined the team of Scott M. Brown & Associates with locations in both Angleton and Pearland. Wooten brings an experienced focus to the practice of family law. A graduate of University of Houston Law Center in 1989, she became Board Certified in Family Law, by the Texas Board of Legal Specialties in 1997. Sheelah started her practice working closely with Texas Fathers for Equal Rights, handling challenging custody cases.
Wooten brings over twenty-two years of experience to Scott M. Brown & Associates. Prior to joining the firm, she practiced family law in both Brazoria and Galveston counties. In addition, she is a former prosecutor for Children's Protective Services (CPS). Brazoria County District Attorney's Office and has substantial experience in the area of trial by jury.
